Why don't we actually use scientific notation in daily communication??

Daily communication is intended to be convenient and brief. By using scientific notation, it makes the other person have to think and understand the actual number instead of directly being provided with the information. This makes it harder for them to give a response as a part of regular communication. Hope that helps :)
