When looking at probabilities, two ideas are always true.

1) Any probability is more than 0.

2) The sum of all the probabilites is 1.

Idea #2 works here. (For example, think of how a die has six things and the probability of each is 1/6. So 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 = 1.) Let G = the probability of grape, C = probability of cherry and O = the probability of orange. From Idea #2, G + C + O = 1. Since we know G and C, then

3/10 + 1/5 + O = 1.

3/10 + 2/10 + O = 1

5/10 + O = 1

O = 5/10

Thus, the probability of an orange jelly bean is 5/10 = 1/2.

What is t in 197sin(12t)=141
spayn [35]

Answer:

  t ≈ 0.0664731

Step-by-step explanation:

Use the inverse sine function.

  sin(12t) = 141/197

  12t = arcsin(141/197)

  t = arcsin(141/197)/12

  t ≈ 0.0664731 . . . . . . . radians

__

This is the principal value. There are other solutions at values of t that have integer multiples of π/6 added to this. There are also solutions where any of those values is subtracted from π.

_____

In general, angles in math are assumed to be in radians, unless specified otherwise. This angle corresponds to about 3.81°. (In geometry, the usual assumption is that angles are measured in degrees.)

If ABCD is dilated by a factor of 2 the coordinate of b would be? Will mark barinlyist.
ch4aika [34]

Answer:

B'(- 2, 2 )

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming the dilatation is centred at the origin, then multiply the coordinates of B by the scale factor 2, that is

B(- 1, 1 ) → B'(2(- 1), 2(1) ) → B'(- 2, 2 )
