I believe it's person vs. person and person vs. environment.
The environment is polluted and humans are still trying to figure out how to slow down the rate at which the environment is getting polluted. To help save the planet you can:
Recycle
Ride a bike to work
Carpool
Okay so you just replace certain words in the sentences with the words in the brackets. For example, in the 2nd question you rewrite the sentence as Looking after animals is *far more* time consuming than looking after children. Hope this helps! :D
