If a translation maps point (3, 2) to (4, 5), then what is the image of the point (O. O)?

If a point is translated from (3, 2) to (4, 5) the translation rule is:

(x + 1, y + 3)

^^^How I found this rule:

Here is how the rule for translation is written: (x + a, y + b)...

3 + a = 4

3 - 3 + a = 4 - 3

a =  1

2 + b = 5

2 - 2 + b = 5 - 2

b = 3

To apply this rule to the point (0, 0) simply plug in the x and y to the transformation equation like so...

(0 + 1, 0 + 3)

(1, 3)

Hope this helped!

if you had a block of each type of wood with the same dimensions,how would their weights compare?explain?
inysia [295]
For this case we have the following equation:
 Density = mass / volume
 If the volume is the same, then the object with the greatest weight will be the one with the highest density.
 You must know the type of way to know the value of the density.
 Answer:

The weight of the blocks will depend on the density if the volume is the same.

Compare the scores: a score of 75 on a test with a mean of 65 and a standard deviation of 8 and a score of 75 on a test with a m
LiRa [457]

Answer:

The Zscore for both test is the same

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that :

TEST 1:

score (x) = 75

Mean (m) = 65

Standard deviation (s) = 8

TEST 2:

score (x) = 75

Mean (m) = 70

Standard deviation (s) = 4

USING the relation to obtain the standardized score :

Zscore = (x - m) / s

TEST 1:

Zscore = (75 - 65) / 8

Zscore = 10/8

Zscore = 1.25

TEST 2:

Zscore = (75 - 70) / 4

Zscore = 5/4

Zscore = 1.25

The standardized score for both test is the same.
