Anything sudden is not the answer. So B is incorrect. There are too many industries connected to fashion for fashion to respond quickly to weather changes.

I doubt that C is of any concern to the whole industry. It's a small worry. It's not how many. It's how creative and how well they've read the intended audience.

I have no idea what the crime rate has to do with anything. It may or it did affect the fabrics industry when the Mafia first learned about what fashion and fabrics could do for them. But it was in their best interests to keep the industry going. A busy industry is a money making industry. E is not very relevant. So ...

We are down to A and D. I'm not sure about D but I think women expressing opinions is very important. It would would be one of the trend indicators. D might be so but I think A is more important. I think the second paragraph on the first set of notes is a good reason for choosing A.

Try A. If that doesn't work try D.

Which of the following describes the work of Picasso's Blue Period?
Ber [7]
A and C are both correct to a degree. He is well known for his peculiar geometric forms in his paintings, which were not at all realism, but rather a style called cubism. During his Blue Period, his paintings were literally painted in blues, and were true to the answer in C. One particular painting depicts an elderly man playing a guitar with a frown on his face looking incredibly sad and upset. I would probably select C because it describes his Blue Period in contrast to his typical style, which is described in A.
