The given sentence is a run on sentence.

Explanation:

A run on sentence is the one which uses two or more independent clauses and can add more clauses, but the clauses are not joined by any conjunction or joining word or any punctuation mark. For example: he was eating rice he couldn’t understand what to do next.

In this given sentence, the independent clauses are being added without using any punctuation or conjunction. They first went to the aquarium and after that had lunch but it is not joined by any joining word. Therefore it is a typical run on sentence.

uranmaximum [27]
Princess is already in singular form. To make something posessive, you need to add either 's or '. Since the last letter of "princess" is an "s" the answer would be princess'.

Read these lines from stanza 6.
Ostrovityanka [42]

Answer:

C

Explanation:

take a look at this line again

performing breathtaking feats

of aquatic acrobatics for the sheer joy of it.

Does that sound like silly and foolish to you? It doesn't to me. That answer should never be considered. Not D

Where's the stubborn part? Do the dolphins sound stubborn? Not B either.

What about flexible and powerful? I think this is likely your second best answer. It would take power to get them out of the water and to be acrobatic you need to be flexible. I wouldn't pick this answer, but I understand those who would.

To me the answer if C. They sound like they are having a lot of fun. And they are treating what they are doing with a lot of glee and much joy. What the author says is that it is breathtaking. C is the only answer you could pick.
