Answer:

63.25 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

area of a triangle = 1/2 base × height

area of a circle = pi × r^2

radius = half the diameter

therfore area of a semicircle would be 1/2 (pi × r^2)

triangle = 1/2 × 8 × 6 = 24 ft

half a circle = 1/2( pi × 5^2) = 39.25 ft

total are = triangle + 1/2 circle

total area = 24 + 39.25 = 63.25 ft

Repeated subtraction is a method of subtracting the equal number of items from a larger group. It is also known as division. How Do I do proofs for proving triangles?
MA_775_DIABLO [31]
You must have been taught postulates and theorems that allow you to prove triangles congruent, such as SSS, SAS, ASA, etc. Look at the given information of a proof, and see how from the given information, using definitions, postulates, and theorems you have already learned, you can show pairs of corresponding sides and angles to be congruent that will fit into the above methods. Then use one of the methods to prove the triangles congruent.
