Answer:

A moral dilemma reveal the following about a character:

It reveals the character's state of making a choice in a difficult situation between right and wrong actions. In other words, the character is torn between right and wrong.

Explanation:

In moral dilemma, the character is in a situation where he/she has to consider two or more moral values or choices but has the opportunity to go with just one. The individual at this time will have to violate one important moral in order to fulfill the other.

An example of moral dilemma is when a character has two children trapped and he has an option of saving just one or else the two wouldn't make it. What should he do? He is left in a dilemma.

Why is a rainbow a better image than a partly cloudy day? What does a rainbow have that a partly cloudy day does not? How is a r
Dovator [93]

Answer:

The reason the rainbow is typically a better image is because it is usually a symbol of good luck and if you are christian, a reminder of God's promise never to flood the earth so devastatingly again. When a rainbow apears, there is a lot more sunlight, because that is what is needed for it to be created. The components of a rainbow are direct sunlight and water droplets (i would like to say the water has to be going at a certain angle)

I hope this helps

OlgaM077 [116]

Answer:

D) It appeared as though Mrs. Hale was answering the question, but she actually meant something quite different with her response.

Explanation:

In Susan Glaspell's play "Triffles," the people investigating the crime find sewing elements which the men overlook because they believe a kitchen holds trivial items. The reason is that the thoughts and opinions of women were not considered important at the time. Thus, the uneven stitching in Mrs. Wright's quilt indicates that she was upset or distracted by disturbed during her quilting. As a result, with the discovery of the dead bird, the women realize that Mrs Wright had was going through an oppressive marriage and had reasons to kill her husband. That is why Mrs. Hale means something different than what she is answering: the women are actually hiding the evidence to protect Mrs. Wright.
