What changes did the new order bring to the catholic clergy’s methods of election and compensation
PilotLPTM [1.2K]

A Catholic Religious Order has subcategories:

 • Canons Regular, who recite the "Divine Office" (An official set of prayers who mark the hours of the day).
 • Monastics, who live and work in a monastery.
 • Mendicants, which are friars who participate in apostolic activities.
 • Regular Clerks, such as priests.

There are several religious orders among the Catholic Church, including the Carmelites, The Order of Saint Benedict or the Dominican order.

With the New Order of 1983, there is no longer a difference between "solemn" and "simple" vows. It also defines the role of the Superior General, which has authority over the order's dependent communities.

Why were many legends written about knights?
Mashcka [7]

Answer:

Many legends were written about knights so that the accounts of the deeds of the knights remained in some or the other form and inspired the coming generations by describing how great the knights were.

Explanation:

 • The idea of writing legends served the purpose of keeping the knights alive forever in writings that speak about their greatness.
 • Sometimes, the legends were also written on the orders of the knights that performed some kind of courageous deed.
 • The ones who wrote the legends often exaggerated the deeds of the knights in order to make the legend articulate and impressive.

Pls help! (It’s for a grade)
dexar [7]

Answer:

Jefferson and Madison would have favored the views listed.

Explanation: Jefferson and Madison were "Anti-Federalists" also known as Democratic Republicans. They believed in stronger states rights and less powerful federal government. They favored policies that would benefit farmers. Tariffs increased the cost of imported goods such as tools, machinery, and finished fabric, thus making it more difficult for farmers to afford them.
