The truth about office friendships is:

Workplace cliques can cause horizontal disharmony.

Clique is a small group of people who share common interests and usually spend time together and do not readily allow others to join them.

Workplace cliques can cause horizontal disharmony because they are purposefully alienating others. People within a clique uses said clique to be their comfort zone. Thus, they do not extend effort to meet and cultivate new friendships nor exert effort to do better at work. Sometimes, they tend to pass up promotions or better benefits so that they will stay within their cliques and not deal with insecurities or feel vulnerable in facing situations that they are not comfortable with.

The computation is shown below:

a. The current account balance equal to $44,400

b. The current account balance equal to

Since the company prepaid rent for two years is $44,400 but we have to compute four four months i.e from September 1 to December 31

We assume the books are closed on December 31

So, the current account balance is

= $44,400 - $7,400

= $37,000

The $7,400 is come from

= $44,400 × 4 months ÷ 24 months

= $7,400

c. And, the adjusting entry is

Rent expense A/c Dr $7,400

MONEY Deanna and Lise are playing games at the arcade. Deanna started with $15, and the machine she is playing costs $0.75 per g
goblinko [34]

Answer:

The answer is: after 8 games

Explanation:

You can solve this problem in two ways:

                                        Deanna                        Lise

Start with                            $15                            $13

After 1 game                      $14.25                       $12.50

After 2 games                   $13.50                       $12.00

After 3 games                   $12.75                        $11.50

After 4 games                   $12.00                        $11.00

After 5 games                   $11.25                         $10.50

After 6 games                   $10.50                        $10.00

After 7 games                    $9.75                         $9.50

After 8 games                   $9.00                        $9.00

Or you can solve this equation:

= (price of arcade D - price of arcade L) / (Deanna's money - Lise's money)

= ($0.75 - $0.50) / ($15 - $13) = $0.25 / $2 = 8

4. Suppose you hold a PUT option on Israeli shekels with a strike price of 3.4207s/$. If the spot rate on the final day of the o
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

Profit $3,567

I would exercise my option by buying the shares before the expiration .

Explanation:

Calculation of how much profit would you make trading $1,000,000

First step is to multiply the spot rate on the final day by the trading amount

3.4329s*$1,000,000

=$3,432,900

Second step is to divide the spot rate option by the strike price

3,432,900/3.4207

=$1,003,567

Last Step is to find the profit

Profit =$1,003,567-$1,000,000

Profit=$3,567

Therefore the amount of PROFIT you would make trading $1,000,000 will be $3,567

Based on the above calculation I would exercise my option by buying the shares before the expiration .
