There are a number of ways a teen can act responsibly within their family. Coming back home at the agreed time from an event or from being with his friends is showing responsibility for his own action and respect towards his parents. This is very important as knowing their children are safe is the main concern for parents, and especially for parents of teenagers.

Other ways of showing responsibility within the family are: participating and helping with household tasks, being a good student at school, not getting involved in harmful behaviors (smoking, drinking) and not disrespecting the elderly.
