The Magna Carta reduced the power of the king because it gave rights to nobles and barons. They were guaranteed trial by jury and taxation was regulated to avoid the king exploiting them and taking more than what is due. This meant that the King could no longer do as he wished.

Does the second amendment allow us to own gun and carry guns regardless of how we use it
Lynna [10]
Hello there!

The Second Amendment automatically permits citizens of the United States to bear arms; however, this does not permit using any firearms or similar weapons in an inappropriate manner (such as withdrawing your weapon in a public area for no particular reason). Cases of this have been brought up in news articles and television shows various times. Generally, we can own any legal weapon that the United States Government permits, but can only carry it (concealed) in a public space if you have a license to do so.

I hope this helps!

Vsevolod [243]
The answer is prior to 1942, the US pursued a defensive war in the pacific. This strategy failed, so, the US adopted the "island-hopping" strategy to overwhelm Japanese forces on islands. The battle that forced this new form of thinking was the Battle of Midway, in which the US began a counter-offensive campaign against Japan.
