The Industrial Revolution between the 18th and 19th that implied important changes in society, politics and especially in the economy as machines replaced previous manufacture techniques.  This was possible due to different developments but especially due to Watt's steam engine that was developed by James Watt around 1775 and served as the main power source for engines and therefore for many machines in the Industrial Revolution. Watt's model was more efficient than previous models and replaced the use of horses, men or similar previous used making machines work faster or better. Thus, the one that was the greatest invention of the Industrial Revolution was Watt's steam engine.
