Hi Jayla! :)
Answer/Explanation:
How and why Hitler was able to motivate his fellow citizens into discriminatory actions towards Jews?
In 1930 Hitler started a campaign in Germany. He traveled this country giving speeches, he held several meetings, shook hands, sighned autobiographies, took pictures, and even kissed babies. In all of this, he was convincing by making "vague" promises and constantly encouraging them that he could make promises happen for them. What kind of promises did he offer? "Work to the unemployed, prosperity to failed people, profits to industry, social harmony." He was not clear of how he could or would make this reality. It should not surprise us that these people accepted, they were living in desperate times called "The Great Depression". They were living through "poverty, misery, and uncertainty..their was political instability." So by pretending to be interested in their welfare, people felt motivated and joined Hitler. After all, he was a "master speech maker". He demonstrated this with "carefully rehearsed hand gestures for maximum effect. He skillfully played on the emotions of the audience bringing the level of excitement higher and higher until the people wound up a wide- eyed. "
How and why was Adolf Hitler able to motivate his fellow citizens into discriminatory actions towards Jews? How can this kind of situation (leadership, holocaust, condemnable actions, etc.) be prevented from happening in the world today?
This is my personal opinion, but a huge mistake society makes is to trust those that have authority and power in the world of politics. ManKind have good intentions for their people and offer to make the world a better place in so many way's, but they don't have the potential power to make this happen. To protect ourselves, it is wise to not make ourselves illusions or to believe false expectations.
I tried my very best. Hope this helps you luv! :)
