Yes. 

Government interaction with big businesses allowed there to be more rights for US workers, for example:

- <u>Shorter work hours:</u> Working hours for most jobs dropped from 12+ hours to generally 8 hours.
- <u>Higher wages:</u> Workers before usually worked for low wages. However, with Government intervention, workers made 'minimum wages' or higher, which increased many of their salaries.
- <u>Safer working conditions:</u> Working conditions before government intervention was poor, as one could get injured or even lose their lives. However, the government instituted regulations and rules that protected the workers. 


These are just a few ways the government helped the US citizens.

Def, did by using superpacts they were able to fund big businesses to slip under regulation from government standards. Also having lobbyist's push for policy that helps there business.  <span />
