Read the excerpt below and answer the question. HAMLET: Denmark's a prison. ROSENCRANTZ: Then is the world one. HAMLET: A goodly
Kaylis [27]
In his interaction with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, Hamlet is ironical, but it's not personal. Whereas he doesn't agree with their worldview, he still isn't resentful towards them. He just makes fun of their narrowmindedness, implying that they are the ones who are trapped in a nutshell and can't transcend their limitations. He knows that Claudius had sent for them, but doesn't take them too seriously. He obviously thinks that their behavior is just another instance of human frailty.

On the other hand, he already openly resents Polonius, and is being sardonic in all of their interactions. He enjoys confusing him with complicated logical and language twists, mocking his stupidity, hypocrisy, and sycophancy. While not understanding most of Hamlet's poignant remarks, Polonius still realizes that "there is method" in his madness. "<span>A happiness that often madness hits on, which reason and sanity could not so prosperously be delivered of," observes Polonius, dismissing all the allusions and invectives. </span>Hamlet ridiculed Polonius for his overbearing fatherly protectivity towards Ophelia and the fact that old age hasn't brought him any wisdom.

Zinaida [17]
I agree with the person above -the statement that describes the effect of repetition is A. The repetition shows the distance that the speaker has to travel before he finishes his job and perhaps B. The repetition emphasizes that the speaker has accepted his responsibilities in life., if you have to choose two options.

Who is the beggar Amir meets on the streets of kabul what does he tell Amir about his mother
Vesna [10]

Answer:

1)The begger Amir meets on the street is a former university professor that once taught his mother.

2) He tells Amir that his mother enjoys eating Almond cake with honey tea.

Explanation:

Amir returned back to Kabul after a very long time he was dismayed at what he saw, the whole street was littered with beggars and rumbles, most of the trees have been cut down to serve as a source of fuel during the winter.

A patrol van with Taliban armed men passes by, Amir looks at them sternly, he was then warned by Farid to stop as these men can result to violence at the slightest provocation. An old begger by his side nodded in agreement, Amir spoke with the begger and found out that he was a former university lecturer who knew his mother very well. Amir asked him lots of questions, he soon discovered that his mother loves taking almond cake with honey tea.
