I think the Berliners knew about the air strike because of the agreement that Poland and Great Britain had signed. In that agreement, it states that if Poland was to be invaded by any nation Britain will provide military support for them.

Answer:

The answer to the question: How do you know that Berliners expected a retaliatory air strike following the attack on Poland, would be, that through this attack, all the wishes for apeacement ceased to exist, and the West, especially Britain and France, became aware that Hitler, and Nazi Germany, intended to continue invading European nations. In short, the true plans of Hitler finally came into clear view. The British and French also realized that Germany had become a real threat.

Explanation:

The invasion of Poland, which happened in 1939, nailed the coffin for the temporary peace that had been reached in 1938, through the Munich Conference. After the disappearance of Czechoslovakia, and after a Nazi-Soviet Pact, emboldened by the way he had achieved success and kept Britain and France at bay, Hitler pushed his military to initiate the invasion of Poland, even after knowning that there had been a pact between Britain and Poland in case of a German threat. After the invasion started, Britain and France declared war on Germany, on 3rd September 1939, and the Germans also knew that the war had started for real for them. It was only a matter of time before the German people would expect to feel the consequences of what Hitler had initiated.

Why did the Bill of Rights become part of the Constitution?
kari74 [83]

The Bill of Rights are the first 10 amendments in the Constitution. These were put in after people wanting certain freedoms and rights in America. Federalists supported the amendments along with the Constitution because it gave people individual liberty, but Anti-Federalists felt as if the Constitution and its amendments gave the President and government too much power and the people should essentially self-govern and make their own laws.

Nimfa-mama [501]

Answer:

The French were in terms of friendly with the Natives Indians. Their main occupations in America was for trade with the Natives and to forge an alliance. Both respected each other religion with a peaceful convert.

The British response to the Native Indians, not friendly like the French, the westward expansion led in revolts and war between them. Southern colonies regularly attacked Indians on the frontier. Much of the Indians land was taken away by the colonists. Culturally Indians were considered to be wild and not allowed to mix up with the colonies.

The Spanish response to the Indians was harsh and brutal. The Spanish Conquistadors robed the resources from the land and opened mines and trading system to gain wealth and forced the Natives to work in mines and fields. Culturally it was more favored with intermarriages between the Native and Spaniard led in the new ethnic group called mestizos.
