Answer:

All secretaries are women.

Explanation:

A stereotype is an exaggerated generalization about a group of people that is aimed at passing as a truth about that group but that, being a generalization, fails to capture the singularities and peculiarities that define that group that is made up of individuals that always escape the stereotype. In this case, the stereotype is that all secretaries are women, as if only women could perform that job and not men as well.

Thesis statements should be based only on facts.
A. false
B. true
Tpy6a [65]

Answer: false

Explanation: I suggest the beginning of the thesis statement to be opinion. After all, it is hard to write an essay for something you don't agree with. Then, you should support your opinion with the facts that you are using later on in the essay. So, no. Thesis statements should not ONLY contain facts. Most essays contain a topic that is not yet a fact and is still being debated, causing the main topic to be an opinion.

How does the word choice from "The Third Wish" shape meaning for the reader?
AnnZ [28]

Answer:

Explanation:

Mr Peter rescued a swan while sailing, the rescued swan turned out to be a king and he honored Mr peter by giving gift. He was given three leave and was told to make wishes with leaves individually and that the wish will be granted. He made a wish to have a wife with the first leave and a lady appeared to her but she was never happy she mostly cry and tells him she misses the swan and her sister. Mr peter made his second wish and her wife returned back to the sea where she belongs.

Mr peter's didn't make use of the third leave he rather let it be and he stated that swan should be swan and human be human.

Mr Peter made a choice to let go and this is to say that it is not all the time we have what we desire there are days we need to make some choices so that some things will be. This is also telling the reader that every creature have been made for a particular place and mostly cannot be altered they will always be a desire to go back to where its originated from.
