Find the nth term for the sequence 20,18,16,14..
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

20-2(n-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The general term (or the nth term) of this sequence is [20-2(n-1)].

Verification:

1st term = 20-2(1-1) = 20-2(0) = 20-0 = 20

2nd term = 20-2(2-1) = 20-2(1) = 20-2 = 18

3rd term = 20-2(3-1) = 20-2(2) = 20-4 = 16

4th term = 20-2(4-1) = 20-2(3) = 20-6 = 14

Which set of steps can be used to prove the sine sum identity, sin(x + y) = sin(x)cos(y) + cos(x)sin(y)? Use the complementary r
Vilka [71]

Answer:

[A]  use the complementary relationship between sine and cosine to rewrite sin(x + y) as cos(pi/2-(x+y)). apply the cosine sum identity. then simplify using sin(–y) = –sin(y) and cos(–y) = cos(y).

Step-by-step explanation:

i got it right

screw that other person l0l

note that sin(-x)=-sin(x) and cos(-x)=cos(x)

so sin(-y)=-sin(y) and cos(-y)=cos(y)

or something like that idfk

The domain is an interval. The domain is the function is (answer.)
Dmitriy789 [7]

Answer:

Domain :Set of all real values

Range : -5

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we see the blue line. Assuming it to be the graph of the function we are about to find Domain for.

Here we see that the graph is a straight line , parallel to x axis at y=-5

Hence the function will be

f(x)=-5

Also for every values of x, y =-5. Hence it is defined for all values of x. So the Domain is Set of All Real numbers

However,

For every value of x, the value of y is constant that is -5. Hence The range of f(x)=-5 is {-5}
