When an exponent is raised to another exponent, you can multiply the powers to simplify them.

3/8*3/4

<em>*Multiply numerators*</em>

3*3=9

<em>*Multiply denominators*</em>

8*4=32

x^9/32

Hope this helps!!

For this case we must simplify the following expression:

(x ^ {\frac {3} {8}}) ^ {\frac {3} {4}}

By definition of power properties we have to:

(a ^ m) ^ n = a ^ {m * n}

So, rewriting the expression we have:

(x ^ {\frac {3} {8}}) ^ {\frac {3} {4}} = x ^ {\frac {9} {32}}

ANswer:

x ^ {\frac {9} {32}}
