A flower shop acquired 80 new customers last year. Costs in the marketing and sales areas were the following:
icang [17]

Using proportions, it is found that the Customer Acquisition Cost was of $1,215.

<h3>What is a proportion?</h3>

A proportion is a fraction of a total amount.

In this problem, the customer acquisition cost is the spending in sales divided by the number of customers added.

80 customers were added, considering costs of 1200 + 9000 + 87000 = $97,200, hence:

97200/80 = $1,215.

Anyone know the answer?
yan [13]

Answer:

0.

Step-by-step explanation:

The angle whose sine is 5/12 = 22.62 degrees and in Quadrant II it is

180 - 22.62 degrees

The angle whose tan is (5/12)  = 22.62.

So we can write  α as 180 - α  and β as α.

sin (α+β) = sin ( 180 - α = α) = sin 180

= 0.

Part A

So the coefficient would be the number that is with a variable. The coefficient of 7.50h is 7.50. The variable is h, variables can be a letter or symbol that stands for something in a equation. For this question, h stands for the number of hours Corinne works. The constant is the number that is alone in the equation. That doesn't have a variable with it. In this equation the constant would be the number 40.

Part B

To solve this I will plug in 25 into "h" in and 300 for "s" in the equation 7.50h + 0.20s + 40 and then solve.

1. 25 * 7.50 = $187.5.

2. 0.20 * 300 = $60

3. Add it all together: $187.50 + $60 = $247.50 + $40 = $287.50

Part C

If Corrine gets a raise and earns $9 an hour the coefficient would change. It would be 9h instead of 7.50h.

Determine whether the set of vectors <img src="https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=%20v_%7B1%3D%283%2C2%2C1%29%2C%20v_%7B2%7D%20%3D%28-1%2C-
Korolek [52]
Since each vector is a member of \mathbb R^3, the vectors will span \mathbb R^3 if they form a basis for \mathbb R^3, which requires that they be linearly independent of one another.

To show this, you have to establish that the only linear combination of the three vectors c_1\mathbf v_1+c_2\mathbf v_2+c_3\mathbf v_3 that gives the zero vector \mathbf0 occurs for scalars c_1=c_2=c_3=0.

c_1\begin{bmatrix}3\\2\\1\end{bmatrix}+c_2\begin{bmatrix}-1\\-2\\-4\end{bmatrix}+c_3\begin{bmatrix}1\\1\\-1\end{bmatrix}=(0,0,0)\iff\begin{bmatrix}3&-1&1\\2&-2&1\\1&-4&-1\end{bmatrix}\begin{bmatrix}c_1\\c_2\\c_3\end{bmatrix}=\begin{bmatrix}0\\0\\0\end{bmatrix}

Solving this, you'll find that c_1=c_2=c_3=0, so the vectors are indeed linearly independent, thus forming a basis for \mathbb R^3 and therefore they must span \mathbb R^3.
