According to this, then:

6x = 2*sqrt(c)*x

6 = 2*sqrt(c)

3 = sqrt(c)

c = 3^2 = 9

Hope this helps!

 • 15, 20, 25 — yes
 • 20, 48, 52 — yes
 • 2, 9, 11 — no
 • 39, 80, 89 — yes

Step-by-step explanation:

The squares of the three numbers in each of the given triples are listed. When the sum of the first two numbers is equal to the third, the set of numbers in the triple is a Pythagorean triple.

 {64, 225, 289}, yes

 {225, 400, 625}, yes — a 3,4,5 triple multiplied by 5

 {400, 2304, 2704}, yes — a 5,12,13 triple multiplied by 4

 {4, 81, 121}, no*

 {1521, 6400, 7921}, yes.

___

" of " means multiply......and turn ur percent to a decimal

0.92x = 345...divide both sides by 0.92
x = 345 / 0.92

HENRY COUNTED 350 LOCKERS IN HIS SCHOOL.
telo118 [61]
Using the method of checking each answer to see if it is possible that they are correct.

The 3 in the 350 can also be referred to as just 300 because it a 3 in the hundreds place. Also because if the rest of the numbers following the "3" were zeros the number would be 300.
The 3 in the 403 can be just referred to as 3 because there are no other numbers following it, and the 3 is in the ones place.

A. THE 3 IN 350 IS 10 TIMES THE VALUE OF THE 3 IN 403
-Saying that 300 is ten times greater than 3-
To check that would mean that:
300 = 3x10
300=30
300≠30
ANSWER A DOES NOT WORK BECAUSE 300 DOES NOT EQUAL 30

B: THE 3 IN 350 IS 100 TIMES THE VALUE OF THE 3 IN 403
-Saying that 300 is one hundred times greater than the 3-
To check that would mean that:
300=3(100)
300=300
ANSWER B WORKS AND IS THE CORRECT ANSWER BECAUSE 300=300

C: THE 3 IN 403 IS 10 TIMES THE VALUE OF THE 3 IN 350
-Saying that the 3 in ten times greater than the value of 300-
To check that would mean that:
3=300x10
3=3000
3≠3000
ANSWER C DOES NOT WORK BECAUSE 3 IS NOT EQUAL TO 3000

D: THE 3 IN 403 IS 100 TIMES THE VALUE OF THE 3 IN 350
-Saying that 3 is one hundred times greater than 300-
To check that would mean that:
3=300(100)
3=30000
3≠30000
ANSWER D DOES NOT WORK BECAUSE 3 IS NOT EQUAL TO 30000

THE CORRECT ANSWER IS B
