Terms are separated by + or - signs. If I understand the way you've written the expression, there are 5 terms: 5x^2 and 8 in the numerator, and 6x and 7xy^2 and 9 in the denominator. The second term would be 8 in this case.

If instead you mean (8/6)x, there are 4 terms here: 5x^2, (8/6)x, 7xy^2, and 9. The second term would be (8/6)x in this case.

Well, let's place brackets to signify each term.

(5x^2) - (8/6x) + (7xy^2) - (9).

From this we can see that there are 4 terms. The second term is -8/6x with the preceding sign.

Which graph represent the solution set of this inequality
VashaNatasha [74]
Hi!

First, let me explain that open circles mean that the answer starts after or before that number. So if the answer is q < 4, the answer would be C, and not B.

If the answer was q ≤ 4, the answer would be B, and not C.

I hope that makes sense. Now let's solve the inequality.

Remember that whatever we do to the inequality, we have to do it to both sides.

We need to isolate q on one side.
11q + 5 ≤ 49
Start by subtracting 5 from both sides.
11q + 5 - 5 ≤ 49 - 5
11q ≤ 44
Divide by 11 on both sides.
11q/11 ≤ 44/11
q ≤ 4

The answer is B.

Hope this helps! :)

Is this correct or Incorrect? Explain
Oduvanchick [21]

Answer:

That all you would need to figure anything out. First thing you need to remember is that every triangle is 180 degrees total. Let's say one angle of a triangle 50 and the other is 35. If you were to add 5o and 35 together, you would get 85. Then I would do 180 - 85 and that would give you the remaining and missing angle. Hope this helps<3 !!
