American citizens are well known by their optimism, and it was not an exception during Alexis de Tocquevill’s time. I will pick Bush v. Gore for my choice. If I had of been a Supreme Court Justice at this time, I would of ruled for Al Gore over George Bush. If the Supreme Court had ruled in his favor and let the recount resume, there would of possibly been a different president.
