Read the passage. The cost of health care is rising in America. The amount that an average family must pay for insurance is simp

ly unaffordable. I know this because my family is an average American family—and we are worried. The people who make decisions about health care do not seem to think about the effect of the rising costs on hardworking people like my husband and me. Why does juliet want to believe the songbird she can hear is a nightingale, not a lark?.
Taya2010 [7]

Answer:

Because the nightingale is a bird that only sings at night, and the lark sings at the day. She wanted to believe that it was a nightingale because she knew that Romeo would leave in the next morning. To her, the departure of her lover is too much for her to bear, so she convinces herself that it is a nightingale to not face reality.

In 1861, many did not believe the Civil War would last long; however
TEA [102]
In 1861, many did not believe the Civil War would last long; however, the fighting lasted four years. Why so? Well, the Union and Confederacy had different standpoints on many things, one of these things being the primary reason for fighting. The Union opposed slavery, and the Confederacy favored slavery. One battle that was ironically long would have to be the first Battle of Bull Run. The Union initially thought this battle to be a breezy and easy battle because they had been on a roll. The Confederacy, however, thought otherwise. The Union was fighting with poorly trained volunteers and they lost because the Confederacy simply did better.
