The manner in which Suleiman appointed his court officials was revolutionary for his time.

Suleiman ignored the traditional ways of appointing officials through popularity, inheritance, social status, and/or wealth. He analyzed each candidate for their character and moral standing. Suleiman only appointed those who proved themselves to be trustworthy, honest, able, and provided good service(s).

riadik2000 [5.3K]

Answer:

The democracy in Athens has been considered one of the first ones to be established around the world.

Explanation:

The democratic model was based on the indirect democracy in which the representatives weren´t selected to be voted. Instead, the population took place on the executive and legislative powers personally. Participation was universal and economic status was not taken into consideration. This model had a contribution during 400 B.C. by Cleisthenes who is considered to be responsible of the creation of the institutions that take place in this type of democracy.

What would occur if all producers were removed from an ecosystem? there would be no change; producers are not essential for most
Fed [463]

Answer: consumers would soon run out of food?

Three elements need to be present in an ecosystem to work - producers, consumers, and decomposers. The producers would produce, consumers to consume what is produced and decomposers to decompose.

If there were no producers, it would create a void at the beginning of the food chain, preventing it from functioning. Consumers would soon run out of food. They would starve and soon may die unless they could move to another habitat.
