Aye Sir!
Answer:
The correct response is tobacco.
Explanation:
As the Jamestown colony became more established, the settlers grew tobacco and sold it as a cash crop. This brought more prosperity to the settlement and the colony grew. Initially however and in the early days of the settlement, the settlers had to concern themselves with their own sustenance and they grew corn, squash, and beans. As they were able to build up the community and assure supply and stores through the winters and harsh months, they were better able to start diversifying their economy and to plant large amounts of cash crops like tobacco.

Can Computers Create Art? Part 1

This is the first part of a series of posts on the topic of whether computers can create art, adapted from my longer essay on that topic. For lessons from the past about AI and art, perhaps no invention is more significant than photography. This first essay addresses the question: How did photography become respected as an art form, and what lessons does this hold for new artistic AI technologies?
Prior to the invention of photography, realistic images of the world could only be produced by skilled artists. In today’s world, we are so swamped with images that it is hard to imagine just how special and unique it must have felt to see a well-executed realistic painting. And the skills of professional artists had steadily improved over the centuries; by the 19th-century, artists such as the Pre-Rafaelites and the French Neoclassicists have achieved dazzling visual realism in their work.
The technical skills of realism were inseparable from the other creative challenges in making images. This changed when photography automated the task of producing images of the real world.

Answer:
Inductive
Explanation:
Inductive reasoning is the opposite of deductive reasoning. Inductive reasoning creates wide conclusions from certain observations, just as in this case study, the rate of murder. Majorly, there is data (in our case study- This pattern holds true, even when she controls for population differences (so it is not due to more people living in northern cities)), then generalizations are made from the data (from our case study--greater "culture of violence" in the south produces higher murder rates). This is often referred to as inductive logic, according to Utah State University.
"In inductive inference, there is a shift from an actual one to general form. We make many notations, create a pattern, make a conclusion, and create an explanation or a theory," Wassertheil-Smoller told Live Science. "In science, there is a constant interconnection among inductive inference (based on notations) and deductive inference (based on theory), until we arrive in proximity to the 'truth,' by not just approaching but to be able to prove with total certainty."
Another instance of inductive logic is, "when a person pulls out a coin from a bag and it happened to be a penny. On reaching out the second time, the person also picked a penny, and at the third time, a third coin from the bag is also a penny. It will bring the person to make a generalization that all the coins in the bag are pennies."
Even if the entire premises are correct in a statement, inductive reasoning permits for the generalization to be false. Another example "Semai is a grandmother. Semai is bald. Therefore, all grandmothers are bald." The generalization does not comply logically from the statements.
