I’m unsure of what paragraph 12 is but one lasting affect of the 1953 Indian termination act was the mixing of Native Americans into urban areas of the country to give them equal rights. This only partially worked but a large amount of those people who were affect have caused their families to be more permanently relocated into those areas to this day.

Why did the United States suffer a loss of confidence following the launch of Sputnik 1?
jolli1 [7]

The correct answer is B. The United States assumed that they would be first into space, before the Soviets.

Explanation:

During the Cold War, there was a strong dispute between the United States and the Soviet Union to develop spatial technology and send rockets, satellites, and similar to the space. In this context, the U.S. leaders and scientists strongly believed the U.S. would be the first one into space because there had been huge advancements in this area. However, in 1957 the Soviet Union launched Sputnik 1, which was the first satellite in the space. Additionally, this unexpected victory of the Soviet Union caused a loss of confidence in the United States.

It’s a vital aspect of life to pay attention to, especially if you want to feel more understood and more in tune with the people you care about.</h3>

The boundaries of the African countries that gained their independence after World War II was based on imperialism. The rise of Imperialism brought the rush to invasion, colonization, and expansion in Africa. During those ages, many Europeans tried to explore central portions of the continent to get access to the natural resources and to extend their hold in Africa to make colonies.
