Odysseus must have thought about killing Polyphemus but rejected the idea for at least one reason. The main reason would have been that it was nearly impossible to murder the giant because they had no adequate means of doing it. If they had tried to stab Polyphemus with a sharpened stake, they might have only wounded him.

Hey there!

Odysseus does not stab Polyphemus, the Cyclops, because if he does, he will be trapped in the cave along with some of his men. A boulder is blocking the cave exit, and the Cyclops is the only thing strong enough to move it.

I hope this helps!

Who is Author?

A writer or poet who produces or creates a written work, such as a book or play, is referred to as an author.

Their legal responsibility for the material they produced is determined by who wrote it. The more common definition of author is "the one who began or gave birth to anything."

Generally, the article's creator or creator of the work is the one who has the copyright.

When certain standards are fulfilled, there may be a case for joint authorship if more than one person contributed to the work.

Many nations' copyright regulations offer minimal room for authorship interpretation.

What is Reading?

Reading is the process of understanding the sense or meaning of letters, symbols, etc., especially by sight or touch.

According to educators and academics, reading involves several different skills, including word recognition, orthography (spelling), alphabetics, phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, comprehension, fluency, and motivation.

Hence, option C and D is correct.
