when people eat genetically modified foods they are ingesting chemicals that wouldnt usually be in that crop which can be very unhealthy for you, for example if you eat a chicken that ate GMO (genetically modified organism) corn that makes the chicken grow more then you are also ingesting those added chemicals therefore making you gain more weight then you would if it was organic.
