Because he was involved in the navy and also interested in tanks, he helped build the first tank and called it a "tank" so that the Germans wouldn't suspect that the British were creating a new, powerful weapon. Became prime minister of Great-Britain; Served briefly in WWI as officer; was the Admiral of sea (advocated for funds for tanks)
