Answer:

Islamic prayer is also called "Salah". Muslims are ordered to pray 5 times a day, to make their God, Allah, happy. Before praying they have to make sure that they do "wudu" which is a way of purifying yourself. Without doing this act, your prayer would not be answered by God.

Why did the monsters get "punished" in beowulf?
azamat

Answer:

Because they are the descendants of Cain

Explanation:

Beowulf is an epic poem that is considered one of the most important works written in Old English. It tells the story of a hero called Beowulf, who faces a monster called Grendel in 6th century Scandinavia.

The monster Grendel is considered to have been "punished by God." The reason for this is of Biblical origin. Grendel was punished by God because he is supposed to be a descendent of Cain. Cain is a biblical figure who is responsible for murdering his brother out of jealousy. This horrible crime led God to curse his lineage, making him the father of all monsters, including Grendel.

How did the Mayans adapt to their environment?
Genrish500 [490]

The Maya adapted to the environment by having deer and monkeys as food. Trees and other plants were also good building materials. The Maya built structures such as large public meeting spaces, canals to control the flow of water, and fashioned nearby hills into flat terraces on which peasants could farm.
