When multiplying by 10's, 100's, 1,000's just move the decimal. Example: 0.49 x 10..... there is one zero in the number 10 so you would move your decimal one space to the right making it 4.9 If you are multiplying by 100 you would move the decimal over two times. Say we're working with 0.49 by moving the decimal typo the right the same amount of zeros we now have 49. The same goes with 1,000. They're are three zeros so you would move took the right the times making 0.49 into 490. There is a zero at the end making it 490 because we have to add something in that digit to show all the place settings. Hope that helps.

Mrs. Owens was making Thanksgiving dinner for 10
saul85 [17]

Well if she is making dinner for 10 people and each person want 2 pieces then you need to multiple 10 x 2 = 20. So she is going to need to make 20 pieces.

If each of her pumpkin pies only has 8 pieces then she is going to have to make 3 pies.

3 pies x 8 pieces = 24 pieces of pumpkin pie. So she has to make 3 pies because she needs 20 pieces since everyone wants 2.

In conclusion Mrs. Owens has to make 3 pies and she is going to have 4 pieces left over.

Given: 315/1575. Write the prime fractorization of the numerator and the denominator, then write the fraction in lowest terms.
Ne4ueva [31]
The prime factorization of the numerator, 315, is 5 x 3 x 3 x 7. That of the denominator, 1575 is 5 x 5 x 3 x 3 x 7. To convert the fraction to its lowest form, cancel all the factors that appear to both the numerator and denominator. We will be left with 1/5.

Answer:

A, D

Step-by-step explanation:

When we multiply the fractions, we can get:

\frac{1}{5^{4} }

This is also equivalent to:

5^{-4}

When looking at the answer choices, the only ones that equal 5^{-4} are A and D because:

(5^{-2})^{2}  =5^{-4}

5^{2}*5^{-6} = 5^{-4}
