Pathos is the rhetorical component being used. Through this component, the speaker appeals to the audience's emotions. " What kind of person do you want to be? Do you want to be considered kind? caring? compassionate?.." The speech is laden with emotional language. Ethos is a rhetorical means applied when the speaker is a public person the audiece trusts. Logos is the other means used when the speaker resorts to logical arguments to convince the audience. In this speech neither ethos or logos are being used.

Click on the boxes to choose the meter and line length of the following line.
ozzi

Answer:

Pentameter is the meter form where there are five metrical feet/ beats in a given line of poetry. And this style has different forms namely iamb, trochaic, dactylic, and anapestic.

Iambic is the number of feet used in a line of poetry. In this pattern, the unstressed syllable is followed by a stressed syllable. And in this form of metrical feet, the line contains five stressed syllables and five unstressed syllables.

Alexander the Great had the whim, with the stressed syllables in bold.

The line "Alexander the Great had the whim" is an example of iambic pentameter.

Read the excerpt below and answer the question.
xxMikexx [17]
The best answer is:
The word peculiar doesn't matter.

We can infer from the passage that the word peculiar means different or strange. Kali said "he looks familiar... not a bit normal", implying that peculiar means not normal. The word is clearly relevant, because it distinguishes the human child from other children.
