Greece was the country that originated the Comedies and tragedies in the literary tradition, great comedies can be found written by greek writers, the first of them were mainly plays written to mock men in power, for their vanity and their foolishness, Aristophanes is considered the first comedy master, in tragedies we can name a few like Sophocles and Euripides with plays like Oedipus and Medea.
