If im using equivalent expressions, and i did 7x+1, can that equal 1x+7??

7x+1 is the same as 1+7x. You can add in any order (eg: 2+3 = 3+2 = 5)

However, 7x+1 is not the same as 1x+7. Try replacing x with 0 for each expression. You'll find that 7x+1 turns into 1 while 1x+7 turns into 7. That is one example why 7x+1 and 1x+7 aren't equivalent.
