Suppose you increase your walking speed from 6 m/s to 11 m/s in a period of 3 s. What is your acceleration? Answer and units
Alexandra [31]

Acceleration  of a body is defined as rate of chance in velocity with respect to time and its S.I. Units are meter/sec^{2}/ or m/s^{2}

Magnitude of average acceleration of a body = (final speed - initial speed)/time interval = (v- u)/t

where, final speed =v= 11 m/s; initial speed = u = 6 m/s; and time interval = t = 3 s

Hence acceleration = (11-6)/3 = 5/3 = 1.67 m/s^{2}

Answer: How are traits inherited?

Parents pass on traits or characteristics, such as eye colour and blood type, to their children through their genes. ... The two alleles in a gene pair are inherited, one from each parent. Alleles interact with each other in different ways. These are called inheritance patterns.
