Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

18y -30 -7y =25

solution

18y -30 -7y =25

 so we take like terms that is unknown to unknown whole number to whole number or you can put it this way to remember(brothers go to brothers are the ones with an alphabet , sisters go to sisters they are the ones without an alphabet numbers)......okay lets continue

18y -7y=25+30

when a negative is crossing an equal sign it turns positive and vice versa

so lets solve

11y=55

the one with the unknown will divide

11y/11=y

you cant say 1y its wrong in maths you can say in another subject but not maths....okay...so we say y the 1 is invisible but you can say 2y ,3y etc

Then 55/11=5

so y=5

Thats the correct answer....

Find the equation of the line joining the points (4, 9) and (-1, 0)
Fed [463]

The equation of the line joining the points (4, 9) and (-1, 0) is y = 9/5 x + 9/5

How to find the equation of a line?

The formula for calculating the equation of a line is expressed as:

y = mx + b

m is the slope

b is the intercept

Determine the slope:

Slope = 0-9/-1-4
Slope = -9/-5
Slope = 9/5

Determine the y-intecept

0 = 9/5(-1) + b

b = 9/5
Hence the equation of the line is y = 9/5 x + 9/5
