The Armistice of November 1918, or standstill of hostilities that allowed of peace negotiations during WWI between Germany and the Allies, was a request from Germany when they realized they didn't have chances to win rather than surrender, after USA entered the conflict reinforcing the Allies.

President Woodrow Wilson's pressure on Kaiser Wilhelm II to quit had a favorable outcome for the Allies side, since Wilhelm requested the armistice afterwards with a telegraph sent to President Wilson's office; the war officially ended later on June 1919 with the Treaty of Versailles.

Labor Unions were formed.
