4 * 500 = $2,000

Then, you must calculate how much he earned by the commission:

$42,000 * 3%

(3% = 3/100)

42,000 * 3/100 = 420 * 3 = $1260

Finally, you add what he earned form the commission plus the 4 weeks salary:

$2,000 + $1260 = $3,260

Write an equation of the line that passes through (−2, −1) and is
perpendicular to 2y =3x−5.
marusya05 [52]

Answer:

y = 2/3x - 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Find the slope:

2y = 3x - 5

2/2y = 3/2x - 5/2

y = 3/2x - 5/2

Slope is 3/2

In order for a line to be perpendicular the slope in the equation should be flipped. 3/2 becomes 2/3.

Perpendicular equation:

y = 2/3x + b

b is going to be equal to the y intercept of the point they gave us, so -1.

Answer: y = 2/3x - 1

Find the value of X in each figure below
Mrrafil [7]

Answer:

168). C

169). C

170). C

Step-by-step explanation:

For the first angle, it is a right angle, so it measures 90 degrees.

x and 50 are complementary angles, meaning they add up to 90 degrees.

So, subtract 50 from 90 to get 40, which is equal to x.

45 and x are supplementary angles, meaning they add up to 180 degrees.

Subtract 45 from 180 to get 35 degrees, which is the measure of angle x.

All angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees.

So, 70 + 56 = 126, 180 - 126 = 54.

Since the unknown angle is x - 5, 54 + 5 = 59, which the the measure of angle x - 5.

Can someone help me please?
nirvana33 [79]

I don't like algebra pretending to be geometry. These are supplementary angles, adding to 180 degrees, geometry done.

We'll assume the units on the 2 and 8 are degrees.

(x + 8) + (3x + 2) = 180

4x + 10 = 180

4x = 170

x = 170/4 = 85/2 = 42.5 degrees

The first angle is x+8 = 50.5 degrees

The second angle is 3x+2=129.5 degrees
