You have the right idea so far, but you forgot to finish it up.

Point slope form is

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

where m is the slope, and (x1,y1) is the point the line goes through. As you can see, we have infinitely many choices for (x1,y1). If you use the y intercept point (0,5), then

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - 5 = -1(x - 0) ..... this is one of infinitely many possible answers

OR

If you use the point (2,3), then we'd say

y - y1 = m(x - x1)

y - 3 = -1(x - 2) ..... which is another possible answer

There are infinitely many other choices, but I'm only picking the points in which your teacher has shown as big dots.

By the way, nice work on getting the correct answer for the slope-intercept form.

Step-by-step explanation:

(0,5)and (2,3)

m = \frac{y1 - y2}{x1 - x2}  \\  = \frac{5 - 3}{0 - 2}   \\ =   - 1 \\ \\ m =  - 1 \\ substitude  (0,5)or (2,3) \\ substitude \: (0,5)for \: convenience \\ y =  - 1x + b \\ 5 = b \\ y =  - x + 5

Brianliest please~

I don't know what your choices are, but I did the questions for you.
R=D/2, R=12, R=radius,
SA= 4 times 3.14 12 times 12, so,
SA=1809.557368, if you round it to two decimal places, it'll be,
1809.56, so the answer is 1809.56in. squared.

Consider
SVEN [57.7K]

Answer:

a = 54

b = 18

Step-by-step explanation:

ABCD is a square. It's diagonals AC and BD intersects at G.

Since, diagonals of a square bisects at right angles.

\therefore m\angle AGD = 90\degree

\implies a + 2b = 90\degree

\therefore a = 90\degree - 2b.....(1)

Since, measure of each angle of a square is right angle.

\therefore m\angle ABC = 90\degree

\implies 2a-b = 90\degree.......(2)

From equations (1) & (2)

2(90° - 2b) - b = 90°

180° - 4b - b = 90°

-5b = 90° - 180°

-5b = - 90°

b = - 90°/(-5)

b = 18

Plug b = 18 in equation (1)

a = 90° - 2*18

a = 90° - 36°

a = 54
