  • John Coltrane was one of the best jazz saxophonists and he was also a composer. He appeared on Miles Davis album and he was very successful after his work with Miles Davis. Coltrane had a big influence on other jazz musicians and saxophonist in music.
  • He received famous awards and one of them was canonization by African Church, also one of his best prizes was a Pulitzer Prize.

He was playing tenor and soprano saxophone. Coltrane was one of the musicians that did influence Jimi Hendrix and Frank Zappa.
