Although most humans remained nomadic for a time, some settled into permanent places in areas that provided for them year-round.

Rivers and estuaries (where a river empties into an ocean) were ideal for meeting their needs. Settling and staying in one area allowed humans to make their next big leap forward. Give three examples of changes or improvements living in one place made.

Answer:

Permanent houses, hospitals, schools and cultivation of crops.

Explanation:

Settling and staying in one area or location allowed humans to make permanent houses where they lived forever because that area has all the facilities available which is necessary for living. Humans also started to cultivate food crops instead of hunting in order to fulfill their food needs. Humans also make hospitals and educational institution for themselves in order to educate their children and maintain their health status.

How successful has the civil rights movement been since the 1960s?
Crank
The civil rights movement was a struggle struggle for social justice that took place mainly during the 1950s and 1960s for blacks to gain equal rights under the law in the United States. The Civil War had officially abolished slavery, but it didn’t end discrimination against blacks—they continued to endure the devastating effects of racism, especially in the South. By the mid-20th century, African Americans had had more than enough of prejudice and violence against them. They, along with many whites, mobilized and began an unprecedented fight for equality that spanned two decades.
