This eventually led to the war among all Greek states. However, after winning the war, Sparta allowed the liveliness of Athens to remain in the form of its culture, literature and other soft power.
- Feminism- Spartan women were prohibited from wearing from any cosmetics, makeup, jewellery. They were judged more on their physical build than on their innate beauty. While Athenian women were famous for their beauty and cosmetics. Makeup was part of an Athenian feminine lifestyle. Physical training was not commonly practised by women.
