Dr. Kettlewelll predicted that clean forests would have _____________ colored moths, and polluted forests would have _________ c
Mashcka [7]

Answer:

Kettlewell thought that if natural selection caused the change in the moth population, the following must be true: Heavily polluted forests will have mostly dark peppered moths. Clean forests will have mostly light peppered moths. Dark moths resting on light trees are more likely than light moths to be eaten by birds.

Cnidarians and Ctenophores are alike in the following way: a) they are scavengers and parasites. b) they are both diploblastic.
alexandr1967 [171]

Answer:

Options B.

They are both diploblastic.

Explanation:

Cnidarians are group of aquatic animals that live both in fresh water and Marine water. They are distinguished by the possession of specialized cells called cnidocytes for capturing prey. They are radially symmetrical and have two body layers ectoderm and endoderm separated by jelly layer called mesoglea.

Examples are Hydra, corals, sea anemone and jelly fish.

Ctenophores are phylum of Marine animals that are found in every where. They are characterized by vast of cilia which is use for swimming. They are bilaterally symmetrical , they have mouth and don't have anus. They don't have respiratory, excretory and circulatory system. They are diploblastic i.e they have two body layers but some are triploblastic.

They have nemacyctes for capturing prey.

Examples are nuda, tentaculata e.t.c.

explain why it is important to keep the levels of nucleotides relatively balanced in the context of dna and rna synthesis
juin [17]

Answer:

Read Below

Explanation:

Nucleotides are A & T and G&C you see in DNA and in RNA T is Replaced by U. The reason they must be balanced between G&C and T&A is because G has to bond with A in DNA and G with C so if there is more G than C that means there is mismatches between the DNA nucleotides same thing for A and T. In RNA you follow the same rule. If we have lets say 27% of our DNA as A we have to have 27% as T leaving 23% as C and 23% as G. If there was lets say 29% T while one 27% A then there was a error in DNA replication and could lead to errors in RNA synthesis if not corrected
