It humiliated and forced Germans to pay reparation to the Allied powers. During this period, Germans were facing political unrest, economic depression, unemployment in the country. Germans economy crashed in 1929 because of hyperinflation happened in 1923 when the Weimar government printed banknotes to pay reparations.
