Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright, lets get started.

There are two top parts of the figure.

The first part area is : 6*6=36

The second part area is : 6*4=24

The area of bottom of the figure is : 6*10=60

Left side surface area is : 10*6=60

Right side surface area will be in two parts : (6*6)+(6*4)=60

The area of front and back will be same, so = (6*10)+(4*4)=76

Similarly, the area of back will be : 76

Adding each area = 36+24+60+60+60+76+76

So, total surface area will be = 392 square feet : Answer

Hope it will help :)

Write an equation of the line that passes through (-4,1) and is perpendicular to the
trasher [3.6K]

Answer:

line1:y=2x+3

Gradient1=2

Let line2 be the line passes through (-4,1)and perpendicular to line1.

Because line2 and line1 are perpendicular, (gradient of line2) (gradient of line1) =-1

Gradient of line2=-1/2

Equation of line2:y-y1 =m(x-x1)

:y-1 =(-1/2)[x-(-4)]

:(y-1)(-2)=(x+4)

:-2y+2 =x+4

:-2y+2-x-4=0

:-x-2y-2 =0

:x+2y+2 =0

*notes:gradient=m

The circle with center O has a radius of 9 centimeters. If x=60 degrees, what is the length of arc AB?
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

A.) 3 pi cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for arc length (s) as a function of radius (r) and central angle (θ) in radians is ...

... s = rθ

Here, you have r=9 cm and θ=(60°/180°)π = π/3 radians, so the arc length is ...

... s = (9 cm)·π/3 = 3π cm
