Explanation:

The South economy based on plantation and slaves needed as labourers in cotton and other plantations. The Southern economy based on farming as the soil was favourable for growing crops like tobacco, cotton, and rice.

The Southern states depended on the labours to toil in the fields of cotton plantations. For plantation owners, slavery became the backbone of the economy of the South. Slaves worked as domestic servants in white colonists household as well as in plantations. The efficiency and productiveness in the South made most plantation owners economically dependent on slaves.

Slavery changed over time because it was as an evil practice by the Northerners in America. Slavery remained legal in the South, while it continued as illegal in the North. Slavery lasted until 1865 when the South lost the Civil War.

Because of all this anger, they formed protests such as the Boston tea party and mobs in the streets that led to the Boston massacre. As for Crispus Attucks, he is widely regarded as the first person killed by the British in the Boston Massacre.
