consider this system of linear equations: y = –3x 5 y = mx b which values of m and b will create a system of linear equations wi
Blizzard [7]
No solution means that the lines are paralell and have differnt y intercepts

paralell means has same slope

y=mx+b
m=slope
b=yint

given equation is
y=-3x+5
slope=-3
yint=5

paralell so
y=-3x+b
wher b is any number except 5
example
y=-3x+4
y=-3x+√3
y=-3x-π

basically

m=-3
b=any number except 5

leva [86]

Answer:

h(x) = 3(x - 5)^2 + 6.

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x) = 3x^2 + 8

Shifting 5 units to the right gives:

3(x - 5)^2 + 8

Now 2 units down :

3(x - 5)^2 + 8 - 2

= 3(x - 5)^2 + 6.

If the coefficient of determination for a data set is 0.75 and the SSE for the data set is 13, what is the SST for the data set?
nadya68 [22]
Answer : SSE = 9
r^2 = 0.75
r^2 = 1 - (SSE/SST)
SSE/SST = 1 - r^2 = 1 - 0.75 = 0.25
SST = 9/0.25 = 36
