*Every state's constitution sets up a government that is, in some way or other, patterned after the United States government.
*Every state has a separately elected Governor, as opposed to a Westminster style parliamentary system of government where the chief executive would be elected by the legislature (parliament).
In every state, the head of state and the head of government are the same person. No state has a monarch, or titles of nobility.
*Every state has a separate executive, legislative, and judicial branch, like the federal government.
*Every state constitution has a bill of rights. In most cases, the same rights that are found in the federal bill of rights can also be found in state constitutions' bills of rights. In many cases, state constitutions give more rights than the federal constitution.
*Every state except Nebraska has a bicameral (two house) legislature, like Congress.
*Every state has a written constitution (like the federal government does).

Which of the following best states an interpretation of the Second Amendment?
deff fn [24]

Answer:

There should be no limits on owning and using guns.

Explanation:

The Second Amendment was added to the constitution to protect people's right to keep and bear arms and the government's right to establish a Militia for the defense of the nation. Therefore, "There should be no limits on owning and using guns" is the statement that best interprets the statute because the statute is not specific enough, it can be broadly understood that since people have the right to own arms for self-defense, they also have the right to use them when there is a threat to their security.

The amendment states: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

lozanna [386]

It was a cold autum morning on November 3rd 1896, when that day it was the election. This was it. This election was meant to be a new era in Americas Politics. During this time, the populists took control. However they earned Democratic Party and William Jennings Bryan. They were nominated for election by both the independent Populist Party and the Democrats. It was his defeat that many populists abandoned them for Democratic or Republican ideals..
